On May 7, 2023 in Roberts, Illinois, PBL students and staff were recognized at the Governor Thomas Ford Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution Awards Ceremony. This ceremony was to honor the award recipients of the American History Essay Contest and Junior American Citizens Contest.
Our very own, Hilary Sawyer, was recognized for her efforts in promoting the American History Essay Contest and the Junior American Citizens Contest.
The students that were recognized at this awards ceremony were:
Poster Contest: Rex Reber (3rd) and Gavin Wurmnest (4th)
Stamp Contest: Seth Otto (4th), Lukas Reynolds (5th), Ella Strebeck (7th), and Ben Strebeck (8th)
Short Story Contest: Rowan Grice (3rd) and Elizabeth Quinlan (4th)
Poem Contest: Bodie Bennett (3rd), Katherine Sawyer (4th), Weston Gustafson (6th), and Audrey McCoy (8th)
