The Governor Thomas Ford Chapter of National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution sponsors annual Junior American Citizens Art and Creative Expression contests for local students, fostering good citizenship and appreciation for American heritage. Students from Tri-Point, PBL, and GCMS districts, grades 1-12, participated this year, themed around the "50th anniversary of the NASA space shuttle program." Entries like posters, stamp designs, digital art, stories, or poems were judged locally, statewide, and nationally.
