Student Council & Advisory Service Project

PBL Junior High School students recently came together to spread some holiday cheer to residents at our local nursing homes. As part of a Student Council and Advisory Service Project, each Advisory class was provided with materials to create cozy blankets.

The students enthusiastically embraced the project, putting their hearts and hands into crafting the blankets. Through their combined efforts, they created over 90 blankets, each one a testament to their compassion and generosity.

On Thursday, December 19th, members of the Student Council had the privilege of delivering the blankets to the nursing homes. The residents were overjoyed with this gesture of kindness, and their faces lit up with warmth as they received the thoughtful gifts.

This project not only brought comfort to the nursing home residents but also instilled a sense of community and civic responsibility in the students. It was a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer and make a positive impact on the lives of others.

A big thank you to all the students and staff who participated in this heartwarming project. Here is a link to photos from the Student Council & Advisory Service Project - December 2024.
