This summer, Addison Shurr is thrilled to be participating in the Stanford Summer Humanities Institute. Throughout the week, she is engaging in a variety of workshops and fun activities organized by the residential staff. These workshops cover important topics like equity and inclusion, academic career paths through a faculty panel, insights from the Stanford Office of Undergraduate Admission, and wellness coaching.
In addition to the educational workshops, Tobi is enjoying recreational activities such as board games, pick-up sports, and scenic walks around the beautiful Stanford campus. The institute provides her with a unique opportunity to dive deep into the humanities, exploring rich fields of inquiry that are rarely taught at the high school level. This enriching experience combines academic exploration with engaging social activities, making it an unforgettable summer for Tobi.
