On April 1st, PBL High School will celebrate “Declaration Day,” where seniors are invited to wear their chosen college, career, workforce, or military apparel to showcase their next steps after high school. See the attached flier for more information. We are excited to see and support everyone’s next steps as they approach graduation and finalize postsecondary plans!

We are excited to share that we are hosting a new fundraiser for the band: a Chili Cook-Off, open to the public for entries, on Sunday, March 2, at 4:00 PM in the PBL Commons. The evening will feature a concert by the PBL Junior High Jazz Bands, PBL High School Jazz Band, and PBL High School Band, along with a dessert auction and a 50/50 raffle.
The entry fee for the Chili Cook-Off is $15, and for tasting, it’s just $5. Tasting fee is waived if you enter a chili or provide a homemade dessert donation for the auction.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mr. Breen - jbreen@pblpanthers.org or Amanda Dunlavey - adunlavey@pblpanthers.org.
Thank you for your continued support of our band program!

The Ford County Attendance Initiative would like to give some tips to help students get to school as much as possible and limit our chronic absenteeism! Lay out clothes and pack backpacks the night before school. Establish a bedtime and morning routine. Plan trips and appointments outside of school hours if possible. Minimize screen time before bedtime to help achieve restful sleep. Ask school staff to help if your child is having anxiety about school. Have a back up plan to get to school if something comes up. Let's work together to help better student attendance at our schools. Be Present, Be Powerful!

Just a few more chances to see the Panthers in action this winter!

This week was National School Counseling Week, which highlights the unique contributions of school counselors across the country. They help students achieve school success and plan for the future. A big thank you to Mrs. Johnson, Kristin Oyer, and Lisa Niewold for all they do to support students, staff, and families in our schools and district.

Lace up those shoes! Our Track & Field season is officially underway! Join our incredible coaching staff and be part of something BIG.
