Mr. Hess and the high school band will be coming to Clara Peterson to conduct a Veteran's Day ceremony on Thursday, November 11. Pre-K through second grade will attend the ceremony at 8:30 a.m. followed by third grade through fifth grade at 8:50 a.m. We looked forward to honoring our Veterans!
Mrs. Gerdes's 2nd grade class worked on a building challenge today. Based on a picture, students had to design their own version of a helicopter. Lots of great ideas! First lesson of our "Same vs. Change" series in STEM class.
Mrs. Johnson's 2nd grade class had a visit from high school athlete, Trixie Johnson. Trixie, along with many other PBL athletes visit Clara Peterson each Friday to read to classrooms of students.
Mrs. Steiner's 2nd grade class built some great machines today in STEM class. Nice job!
In order to keep all of our students healthy, students are required physicals, immunizations, dental exams at certain ages. All documentation is due to your child's school by October 15. Please see the attachment for more information about your student.

This is a reminder that starting today Clara Peterson will dismiss at 2:50 each day, except Tuesday when we will dismiss at 2:00. This is to help alleviate traffic around Clara Peterson and improve our bus transportation for all PBL students.
