Over the weekend we had two junior high students participate in special olympics bowling. Evan Hudson participated in Peoria, IL at Landmark Lanes and Trenton Kovell participated in Champaign, IL at Arrowhead Lanes with the TNT Firecrackers. Way to go Panthers and we are all proud of you.

Ford County Schools (GCMS, PBL, Tri-Point) are partnering together to decrease chronic absenteeism in our schools. We have worked with the Champaign-Ford County Regional Office of Education to secure an attendance liaison, to work strictly with Ford County Schools. We will be hosting monthly visits at our school with the ROE Attendance liaison during the school day. These visits aim to address the importance of consistent school attendance.

PBL Junior High School & PBL High School students will participate in a fire drill on Tuesday, August 20th at 9:00am. This drill will be supervised by staff and should take approximately 10 minutes.
PBL Junior High Lego League is kicking off the 2024 season Submerged! This season we will look at the how and why people explore the ocean. Student applications will be available in the Junior High office starting Monday, August 19. Ms. Pippin will have an informational meeting during lunch/recess times on Thursday, August 22 in room 122.

Come join us for our 2024-2025 PBL Junior High School Open House. The Open House will be from 5:30 - 6:30 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Please enter through the Junior High School Commons upon arrival at 5:30 PM. The students will receive their schedule, meet their teachers, and organize their lockers prior to the first day of school. Please make sure to have a current physical and insurance waiver on file before participating. Coach Alred will be there on Monday (before each sport begins) to collect paperwork and check in your student-athlete. You're also welcome to turn paperwork into the Main Office.
