Please make sure to have a current physical and insurance waiver on file before participating. Coach Alred will be there (on the first day of each sport) to collect paperwork and check in your student-athlete. You're also welcome to turn paperwork into the Main Office. Come join us for our 2024-2025 PBL Junior High School Open House. The Open House will be from 5:30 - 6:30 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Please enter through the Junior High School Commons upon arrival at 5:30 PM. The students will receive their schedule, meet their teachers, and organize their lockers prior to the first day of school. The Band Parents Association Summer Meeting/Mixer is at Artesia Brewing, Thursday, July 11, 5:30-7:30. For all parents of high school and junior high band students.


Junior High Sports Update: The following sports will have tryouts and their first practice as listed below. All athletes who plan to participate must have a current insurance waiver & physical. A friendly reminder that Monday, July 8th we will be having our first Volleyball youth camp! This will continue through Thursday, July 11th! 3rd-5th graders will be from 9:00-10:30 and our 6th-8th graders will be from 10:30-12:00. We will be in the high school gym! Please have your campers come in through the weight room doors! We will have high school athletes helping to direct campers where to go! We are so excited to see everyone!

PBL Junior High School Yearbooks have arrived in the main office. Students that purchased a yearbook during the year can pick them up in the junior high main office. We also have ten (10) additional copies for $20 if you forgot to order one and would like one (first come – first serve basis). Our summer office hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday & Friday from 7:00am-12:00pm. This week the main office is open today on Tuesday, June 18th & Thursday, June 20th. We are closed this week on Wednesday, June 19th & Friday, June 21st. Next week we are open on Monday, June 24th – Thursday, June 27th (till 12:00pm on Thursday). Today at PBL Junior High School we will have our 8th Grade Recognition in the junior high gym. The gym doors will open at 8:15am for seating and the event will begin at 9:00am. Looking forward to great day and recognizing our 8th grade students.

Last Friday, we hosted Ignite Day at our Junior High, welcoming students from GCMS. This event was designed for our 8th graders to explore various careers through hands-on experiences. It was an exciting opportunity for them to learn new skills and gain insights into different trades. A big thank you to everyone who participated and shared their expertise!











On Tuesday, May 14th PBL Junior High School held the Spring Band & Chorus Concert in the Gymnasium at 6:00pm. At the concert there were performances by the 6th Grade Choir, 7th/8th Grade Choir, 5th Grade Band, 6th Grade Band, and the 7th/8th Grade Band. At the conclusion of the concert we had a small reception for parents, families, and students. Mr. Breen (Band Director) & Mr. Lerch (Chorus Director) would like to thank all the parents for their support this year and the great attendance at the final concert of the school year.
