The PBL Junior High 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys' basketball games will be played at John Greer School in Hoopeston tonight. The 6th grade game will begin at 5:00, followed by the 7th and 8th grade games at 6:00 and 7:00.

The PBL JH Mini Band performed in Roberts, IL on Saturday, December 2nd at the Breakfast with Santa event. On Monday, December 11th the Mini Band will be performing at the Accolade locations in Paxton, IL & on Tuesday, December 12th the Mini Band will be performing at Clara Peterson Elementary.

On Saturday, November 25th the JH Mini Band participated in Paxton's Annual Christmas Parade in downtown Paxton. The parade had a great turnout to kickoff the holiday season.
On Tuesday, November 28th the Class of 2028 is having a Monical’s Community Day where each order will donate 20% back to the Class of 2028. This is for Carry Out or Dine-In purchases only and not delivery. All proceeds will go to the Class of 2028 and their fundraising efforts for this year and more.
The PBL Choral Boosters are hosting a Dine In Fundraiser at Pueblo Lindo on Monday, November 27th to raise funds for the Jr. High Chorus to attend "Music in The Parks" at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL in the spring. 10% of your pre-tax bill for dine in lunch or dinner purchases will go back to the boosters to help in their fundraising efforts.
PBL Junior High School was represented by two students in the ILMEA Junior High Honor Band this past weekend. Lily Schaumburg (Flute) and Hunter Turner (Tuba), traveled to Olivet Nazarene University to perform with the Junior High Concert Band. Earlier this year they auditioned for the group and were selected to perform from our competitive region. They worked with the group all morning and performed in Centennial Chapel that afternoon.
Good luck to the 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team tomorrow on Saturday, November 18th as they begin the IESA Regional Tournament against Westville Junior High School at Hoopeston Area Middle School. The game will begin at 11:15am and the address for Hoopeston Area Middle School is 615 E Orange St. in Hoopeston, IL. Good luck Panthers!
On Thursday, November 16th we will have our School Picture Retake Day for the junior high. This picture retake day is for students that would like to have their picture retaken from the fall or for students that were not at school on the day we had fall pictures. If you would like a paper copy of the ordering information, we do have those in the main office for students to take home. If you would like to order online our school code is 80856V and the website to order from is located at https://inter-state.com/order. If you did order a picture package at our first fall picture date, and would like a retake, please bring your picture package back to ensure you receive the same picture package at no additional cost.
